For anyone who cares, The Chris Matthews Show which used to run on WCVB Channel 5 at 11:30 AM on Sunday will now run at 5:30 AM in the Sunday DEAD zone.

Does this move away from public interest programming have anything to do with the departure of Paul LaCamera who was one of the most civic - and still is - most civic minded General Managers in the city.

Think Chris Matthews is being replaced with a new pre-game show called "The Patriots Shoot-Up For Game Day."

You are not alone. Another Pat's fan who can both walk and chew gum. Enjoy Matthews and Patriots too but putting him on at 5:30 am is pathetic programming which channel 5 should be ashamed of.
