Chuck Oliver reunites with Matt Chernoff from 1 to 3 p.m. on the Fan

The Fan has brought Chuck Oliver in to team up again with Matt Chernoff from 1 to 3 p.m. on The Fan. But they have an obligation with the Jim Donnan Show Mondays and Thursdays through January, too. Both Oliver and Chernoff are former Zone guys.

Very good call... Good time slot for them and nice lead in for Buck and John. I am one Zone listener (listening less these days) who will now be listening to 680 on a regular basis for the first time.

I'm no fan of eliminating local jobs, but I think Colin is a superstar.

Almost anything would be better than the rotating hosts on "The Mike Tirico Show". I think Scott Van Pelt and Michelle Tafoya have logged more minutes there than Mike has. I have no issue with Colin Cowherd. I find most of his show to listenable. It will be good to have more local programing to interact with.

I can't stand Cowherd, but Chernoff/Oliver is a must listen for me. It's the only one for me on 680 actually.

Those guys were fabulous yesterday. Chuck's got a nice way of being opinionated without sounding arrogant about it.

If supported, that show will definitely cut through IMHO.

Sounds good. They should extend the show until 4:00 and cut an hour from Buck & Kincaid.

The email segment near the end of the show was hilarious. The Chuck Smith line was classic.

BTW I asked my wife if she knew who my favorites sports talk host in Atlanta was. Her reponse? "The guy that says 'em?'"I thought it was funny.

They are sounding good. Strong move by 680 to throw them against the Stews. Never understood why break them up and replace them with Porky Pig and and Froggy.

I also noticed Chad Scott who was doing updates on the Zone is now doing updates on 680 the Fan.

Don't mention the name "Chad" on this board ever again. It causes Rodney Ho to sob uncontrollably. In anticiaptaion of a phone call, yes Rodney, you can take "The Chad."

OK that one is way over my head.

Also congratulations in joining the 1200 post club. It is the radio message board equivalent of the 5,000 song playlists that will soon become the standard.
