City News Night Show Ending 9/6/13 on Power 107.5 FM

City News announced tonight on his show that his show will be ending this Friday 9/6/13. However, he will be moving to the AM replacing the PMC. Now it wasn't clear if Konta and Misty was being released from their PMC show. However, with the recent ratings, I believe that they are. Interesting to see the big switch around at Power. I think it would be a good move. Now I wonder who will replace the City Night Show? My guess would be Justin Love. Thoughts?

No Konata or Misty Jordan (no on-air DJ at all) this morning. All you hear is "An all new morning show starting Monday" at least several times an hour. Big shake up I see.

I've been hearing it as well. I saw on their FB page that someone posted that Konata is leaving? I'm guessing he got another gig, or they are really trying to shake things up due to ratings. I would've actually went with Rickey Smiley or The Breakfast Club and kept City in nights. They really want to keep it live and local. They sounded better as a Rhythmic station many years ago though.

Seeing on Konata's twitter that he was let go, not sure if that was a corporate move or in-house decision because of the ratings.

I knew it was coming because the morning show was just so dry anymore. I agree with you though. They should of brought in the Rickey Smiley or The Breakfast Club. I don't think this will be only shake up though coming from this station. Fall is around the corner and usually big changes come about.

Not really seeing much of a change in the morning show. Maybe it's something they will be working on in the future as time goes. I noticed Big Bink is mixing in the morning. However, it still sounds the same from the previous mixer. Now we all know that the mixing is not live but prerecorded.
