CKLW Loud & Clear In Evansville, IN 5am Saturday Morning

I've noticed CKLW dominating 800 kHz most nights lately here in Central KY. In the past, they were not easily heard here. I think we are experiencing some really good wintertime, AM band propagation right now... Lots of other stations are showing up which I normally can't hear well. If only IBOC would go away....Then many other frequencies would also be there for the hunting.

yeah, I heard it too on Saturday morning in Nashville....just before 5a central.
info-mercials. sad.

With all the snow on the ground in this part of the country right now, I know I'm getting much better groundwave reception from many stations. That might have happened to you, but at 5 a.m. I doubt it. Goodness, it's still dark until 7:30 a.m. here in central Ohio so no way the sun is up for you yet.
I will have to try to CKLW here. They do throw a nice daytime lobe in the direction of Evansville but null toward me here in Columbus, I believe because of the Huntington, W.Va. station on 800.
