Classic TV Shows That Bombed As Movies

...for several years, Harry Belafonte and the late Robert Altman were trying to get an Amos 'n' Andy movie done, partly as an outgrowth of their 1996 collaboration Kansas City. From what I heard, either the estates of Freeman Gosden and Charles Correll, who'd originated the radio show, or CBS refused to license certain rights to Belafonte and Altman, and with Altman's death the project evaporated...
