Clear Channel should seriously consider adding a translator or repeater for WDAS AM 1480. Why not simulcast WDAS AM 1480 on either AM 1690, AM 1700, OR ON 95.3 FM. One of these frequencies would be perfect for WDAS AM. If it's on AM 1690 OR AM 1700, then Clear Channel would have to do heavy advertising so the listeners would know their is translator there for WDAS AM. But 95.3 would be an excellent choice also for a translator or WDAS AM. We do need a translator-repeater so that this station can finally be heard in Northeast Philadelphia at night. It is not fair to the listeners of Northeast Philadelphia that they have to be cut off of not being able to listen to this station after sundown. Clear Channel should seriously consider submitting an application to the FCC applying for a translator-repeater for WDAS AM 1480.
One more thing; simulcasting WDAS AM ON 106.1-2 is fine, but right now HD radios are not widely available. The only manufacturer making portable HD radios you can take with you is Insignia, which is only sold at Best Buy stores.
