Clear Channel to carry Hurricane Sandy Benefit on Stations and IHeart Radio

Everytime there is a disaster, all the 'stars' come out to play as a 'benefit'.

As noble as it is, I always wonder just who is really benefiting. All the money generated, yet nothing is ever mentioned as to where the money goes or who it benefited.

With all the millions the Red Cross pulled in for the Haiti Relief, The Tusnami, I heard pennies on a dollar actually went for food and medical.

I think more people profit than donate.

If you question where the relief dollars go but still want to help, just call you local United Methodist Church. They have a program called "UMCOR" All of the money donated to a disaster goes directly to that area's people. The overhead is covered by a special offering the Church takes up during the year.

To tag on to secondchoice, The Episcopal Church has a similar program called Episcopal Relief & Development fund. All of the money for Sandy is being funneled back into "on the ground" projects happening in the Sandy affected area.

Back to the topic, which station will carry this? Or, will more than one station carry this in Atlanta?
