Clear Channel's Channel 96.3 Billboard making controversy in Wichita

Billboards put up by CC's outdoor division for Clear Chanel station Channel 96.3 (KZCH) are causing controversy over it's use of two morning Dj's in a pose in cowboy hats with the phrase "Brokeback mornings", a take on the movie Brokeback mountain about two Gay cowboys in 1960sWyoming.The boards have already been pulled from near a church and a Liquor store, but 10 boards are still up in Wichita with plans for moreFMI and KAKE tv's report on the controversy:http://www.kake.com/home/headlines/2736696.htmlRFLA
 
The only thing better than a billboard in a prime location is a billboard that gets you media attention. Nice work on their part.

Gotta agree. Love or hate the station, the billboard, etc, the billboard is definitely doing what it's intended to do!
 
Agreed. I think people need to relax. It's just a silly play on a local "top of mind" issue. Kudos for the relateability and striking a chord.
