(CRTC) CLEAR SKY RADIO WINS APPROVAL FOR AC-OLDIES STATION IN CRANBROOK, B.C. WITH REBROADCASTERS IN 3 COMMUNITIES
Clear Sky Radio got the go ahead today for a new AC-Oldies station in Cranbrook, B.C. on 107.5 with 1,100 watts (2,500 watts maximum ERP). Antenna height will be 1,047 metres (EHAAT) with a directional radiation pattern. Call letters will be CKCF.
Rebroadcasters were granted in the following communities:
FERNIE at 107.9 with 154 watts (500 watts maximum ERP). Antenna height -572 metres (EHAAT) with a directional radiation pattern.
INVERMERE at 107.7 with 22 watts (100 watts maximum ERP). Antenna height -318 metres (EHAAT) with a directional radiation pattern.
SPARWOOD at 107.1 with 79 watts (500 watts maximum ERP). Antenna height -242 metres (EHAAT) with a directional radiation pattern.
Newcap's application for a new Hot AC-Triple A station in Cranbrook at 96.5 with 2,500 watts was consequently denied.
