This is my prediction and I'm making this prediction based on what I see as logic but I'm not a pro at this so someone correct me if you think I'm looking at this wrong.
WILD is doing great. WILD has a horrible signal inside the city. WILD will move to 96.1 which would cover east west north south equally.
Project would then move to 105.3 This signal covers the city fine and areas on the west and south side. The weakness from 105.3 comes from the north and east. Going by Project's facebook page, many of their listeners are over in Paulding, Carroll, Coweta and Harralson counties in West Ga. 105.3 would make sense. Project will NOT, I repeat, NOT go any where.
105.7/96.7 would become some sort of classic hits (pop leaning) format. Why such a poor signal? Because it will need to first prove itself. The format, for whatever reason, was pulled off of 106.7 so if another company tries this format, they may start off small then go big if it does well (much like they are probably doing with WILD). I wonder if they are going to simulcast the signal on both frequencies though?
I just don't see the Bull going anywhere.
Side Note: Something is up with 105.7 signal. During the afternoon, usually I get 105.7 downtown with 80% clarity but occasionally its more like 40%. However, I've pulled 105.7 down to McDonough and this has happened several times. I'm almost wanting to bet that there may be something in downtown that screws with 105.7 in a more significant way than the typical interference from buildings, etc.
