Clubber, KDM, Robert Moore, and all Rhythmic Fans - Check Out Choice FM London

http://www.choice-fm.co.uk

For the longest time it's been known as London's Urban station, or the one playing Hip Hop and R&B. Now that it's owned by the same company that owns the Galaxy stations its sound is evolving. While it doesnt quite sound like Galaxy, its playlist has been opened up, and it now plays more Rhythmic/Pop, and especially Urban Dance. You know, records like the remix to Kid Cudi's "Day N Nite"

The playlist looks like this:

Good specialty shows at night too, including ones dedicated to House music. This is going to make for a very interesting rivalry with London's legendary Kiss 100.

Here's a direct link to the 128 K stream:

Choice FM is NOT a pirate, and can be heard on 96.9 and 107.1 FM in the London area. The signals arent quite as powerful as those of Kiss 100 or Capital Radio, but they're still pretty good:

So far it reminds me a bit of BBC Radio 1xtra. I'll have to explore it more at a later time. I believe dance/house music is accepted within the urban music community in London and urban house is played regularly on urban stations, unlike here in the U.S. 1xtra also contains quite a bit of specialty shows as well.

Thats what I was thinking was BBC1xtra which is also a good station.. It seems they are cattering to alot of the Urban UK GARAGE and DEEP HOUSE that wasnt played as much on Kiss and Galaxy and so fourth,, so thats why so many kids in London listened to the pirates instead. While im not against pirate radio ran responsibly, I dont believe in breaking into abandoned buildings, damaging rooftops, and causing interference.. Alot of this is UK Hip Hop by both Black and Whitte rappers, as well as a style called Grime which mixes Slowed down Garage with Hip Hop vocals,,, kinda like MIAs Paper Planes.....
