Coast playing KISS music this morning 6/11

I know theres a related thread on this but I thought Coast was butchering the live breaks from KISS now and playing thier own music.This morning 6/11 in the 7 o'clock hour music and breaks were concurrent with KISS.
Are they back to playing the music or is someone just being lazy.I would think the flip flopping of music may piss off some listeners.

At this piont just simulcast the whole KISS 108 schedule.(---k) it.
 
There is no consitency. I bet you that the regular board op is on vacation, so the new board op is just doing their own thing so programming doesn't sound butchered. To a new person not familiar with the format it would sound horrible if they tried to do to much to it.

Scratch that.WSNE is playing thier own music today.What a bleeping Hack job.

I dont know why they just dont play the whole damn show.When B101 aired Imus they aired what little music he played in its entirely whether it was Eminem or Geoge Strait and they were at the time considered an oldies station.

I think listeners at this piont are accustomed that a morning show can be be completly different from the rest of the day if its packaged and promoted correctly.

For ex example....B101 could even get away with a true oldies show(50's and 60's) on Saturday Nights if it was packaged and promoted right.
 
Well if I were in charge I would just let the whole program from KISS 108 run in it's entirety. Throw a couple of short local breaks in for traffic and weather if you want. But that is it! Oxford St should be tampering with this show as little as posssible. So far we've heard the results of what happens when COAST tries to customize it. It sounds like total Sh*t.

Is'nt this the same complaint as Ryan Seacrest.If your going to pay someone to cut and chop and edit why not just pay that person to read liner cards?
 
I wish all syndicated programming was just left alone. I hate to even say this because I bring up his name so much on this forum that I even sicken myself. But I find so many topics where Howard Stern is the perfect example. He used to get pissed when local affiliates would tamper with the show and add their own elements.

He repeatedly would say... "I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING". I DIDN'T GET TO BE NUMBER ONE BY NOT KNOWING ANYTHING.". SO JUST TRUST ME AND RUN THE SHOW AS I SAY. NO WEATHER, NO MUSIC, NO TRAFFIC. JUST RUN IT EXACTLY AS WE DO IN NEW YORK".

Now if Matty affiliates did the same thing, this sure would make things a lot easier.
