Well that's a very good reason, unless tied to an undesirable directional pattern. Is there anything that would prevent NBC from moving the call letters WNBC to WNJU?

As a channel sharing license, both callsigns would attach to the channel 35 frequency.

In case anyone wants to know about their virtual channels after this change, both WNBC & WNJU although on Channel 35 digitally, their virtual channel positions are still the same, with WNBC still on 4.1 and WNJU still on 47.1.

Also, WNBC and WNJU will still have separate licenses. WNBC will remain licensed to New York and WNJU to Linden NJ.
