Coming after 5pm today, New Year's Eve - PPM monthlies Houston

got some info on the PPM ratings for the month on December for univisions stations KLTN, KOVE, KAMA, KPTY, versus KLOL (CC), (LBI's) KQQK, KTMJ, KJOJ

it looks good for KLTN, numbers up, former listeners from KQBU went both ways, older went to KLTN, younger listeners went KTMJ. KLTN became #1 12+ and 18-34
KOVE improved a little with Piolin, KQQK and KLOL declined a little

there is some confusion with the call letters KAMA and KPTY since Amor was not legally KAMA until late december. Amor was KPTY so the numbers are wrong, the numbers ranged from the 1 to 2 in the persons 12+ .....2 to 4 in the persone 18-34.......1 to 2 in the persons 25-54....but the numbers are posted under KPTY on week 4 of december instead on KAMA.
KAMA for the weeks of decembers had zilch. wondering whats going on at Arbitron?
more details after 5pm

Hey, does anyone know what's up with the numbers they posted at R&R and Allaccess?

On R&R, for the 12+, the columns across the top say "July," "August," and "September" instead of "October," "November," and "December."

And then over on allaccess, I have no idea what's going on - it says KTBZ didn't show up in December. And, it looks like the November and December columns may be reversed - across the top the columns are labelled "Win 07," "August 07," "Dec 07," "Nov 07."

Allaccess says KODA had a huge December, which I'll go along with for obvious reasons, but this is also the month they say KTBZ didn't show up. The allaccess 6+ ##s seem to jive with the Radio-info.com 6+ numbers most of the time, so those are probably right, and if they are, allaccess sorted on the wrong column.

The reason I ask is - did Arbitron mess up, or did the people at R&R and Allaccess get in a hurry to get out of the office and typed them in when they were in a hurry?

What you forgot to mention is that in December, week 4, KLTN in 18-34 and 12+ recaptured top rank for Spanish language stations, after KLOL fell over a point in each demo comparing week 4 to the November monthly.

Funny David you forgot to mention KLOL beat all other Spanish formatted stations in key 25-54 demo. As you always mention it's the only demo that really matters. Nobody buys off 12+.

KLOL was also significantly off in 25-54, just a week into the new competition from 104.9. In fact, they were off 1.1 share points 25-54 from the week prior to Amor 104.9 to December week 4, and off 0.9 from the November average. KLTN in that week is now only 0.2 share points behind KLOL. As we know, 18-34 moves faster and first, so the clear win of KLTN is significant and probably an indication of what we will see in the holiday weeks and January.

KLOL was still number one in 25-54 for week four in December PPM weeklies. Regardless of how you want to position it they are still leading all of the Univision stations. Obviously they had to show some decreases as Amor has basically copied KLOLs format. In the last few days Amor has already adjusted format by eliminating tropical music at night.

In four weeks Univision has eliminted Que Buena, adjusted Recuerdos with Piolin, moved Party to an inferior frequency, debut a new Amor format and now adjusted that format. Seems like Payton Manning at the line calling audibles.

Time will tell. You and I can only assume the outcome and no need to respond.
