Company that recorded Audio & Video Airchecks for every signal in Town

What was this company, were there similar operations nationwide? Located at Burbank Blvd @ Cahuenga in North Hollywood, you could purchase an audio or video aircheck of any Radio or TV broadcast although it was costly . This was before digital audio/video. I assume the Broadcasts & Shows were archived. Is anyone else familiar with this type of business?

Here in Houston many years back there was a company that recorded airchecks of the local TV newscasts, but for the life of me I can’t remember its name. Seems it was in the 1990s but just too deeply buried in my brain.

This place was right next to a 7-Eleven and had antennas everywhere. Similar to ordering a written transcript, this business sold more than news related items, a friend who announced the opening of the Dom DeLuise show (1987-1988) needed a copy of the show. I knew of this place as I lived a block away. Even wanted to see if there was possible employment there although I had a killer job in Network Radio at the Jolly Roger Building in Hollywood

Are you talking about California Airchecks?
No, similar to an aircheck though. This company recorded every single Radio & TV broadcast in Southern California in its entirety, and archived all material for various purposes. As I mentioned in my first post, my friend ordered a VHS copy of a program he had been associated with. I passed this place daily as it was right on the corner, next to 7- Eleven on Cahuenga in North Hollywood

I see.

If you're trying to re-discover its name, find the same building on Google Street View. Assuming the place shut down long before the oldest photo available, look at the address on the building and then type it into Google, in quotes. That will probably find old articles mentioning the business by name wherein its address was also given. You might even try searching just David's site.

For example: site:worldradiohistory.com "1234 Burbank Blvd OR Bl OR Boulevard"

This wasn't Burrelle's, was it? They made video copies of programs like 60 Minutes, Donahue, and CNBC's Tom Snyder and Tim Russert...
