Kool!! I remember those days as well when I was still living in NJ. Helen was on, as well as Harvey In The Morning (Jon Harvey-PS What's he doing these days?), and David Dye. Harvey was the best morning show host I have ever heard. Too bad new listeners today will never be exposed to that type of "radio".

the last thing i knew about jon harvey (except where he lived , which i will not put on here) , was that he was working for nickelodeon cable channel ... but that was years ago .. my information on jon is not fresh at all .. glad there is someone else on here that appreciated that station with that format as much as i did !!!!!! (-: remember bill webber , junior ????? remember the the little fusion-jazz jingle that sounded super spacey ????

I too was a huge fan of WIOQ in the early 80s. I particularly liked the segue between Harvey's show and Helen's when the two of them would banter for a few minutes. It's too bad they never did a Harvey and Leicht morning show, it would have been awesome!!
