They running for in the top 2 in the draft lottery at 14% along with the NBA second worst team, The Washington Wizards, who finished at 15-67. On May 12, both the Pistons and Wizards are entered the lottery with 14% chance of getting the top pick in the upcoming NBA draft. The Pistons dropped 4 spot to number 5 while the Wizards retained the 2nd pick.
