Recently, Entercom has gone on an AM/FM simulcast tear. Markets such as Kansas City, and today, Buffalo, are seeing simulcasts of longtime AM talk stations. On top of this, they previously made the move with AM properties in markets such as New Orleans, Wilkes-Barre, PA, Wichita, and Greenville, SC.
I know KJCE has a 1.0 share. But if Entercom believes that it could get more sampling on the FM band, I guess they'll have to decide on whether Mix or Magic walks the plank. (Remember, Entercom killed off AC KUDL in K.C. for a KMBZ AM/FM simulcast.)
