Could Free FM go oldies a la "Classic Hits?" Better check out the SF board!

Could Free FM go oldies a la "Classic Hits?" Better check out the SF board!

That because CBS just put KFRC back on the air on what was the San Francisco version of FREE FM.
Demographics aside, not so far fetched now, eh?

Re: Could Free FM go oldies a la "Classic Hits?" Better check out the SF board!

Well, I feel like thats slightly off the point I was trying to make.
But those are indeed interesting links, so thanks anyway.

Listening to "106.9 KFRC" online. Top of the hour ID uses the legal ID followed by KFRC jingle.

A little too much disco for my taste but it's fun. It will be fun when they get some air talent.

Maybe they can run old clips of Dr Don Rose?

Re: Could Free FM go oldies a la "Classic Hits?" Better check out the SF board!

That would be too cool and the management of CBS Radio San Francisco has a great relationship with Kay Rose the last time I heard.

Can we please start talking about the prospect of this coming to San Diego?

Talk Talk about the talk is not worth talkin' about until the talk about talk going away ... is just all talk.

Thanks G-Dawg. The prospects are only as good as the last book.

Re: Could Free FM go oldies a la "Classic Hits?" Better check out the SF board!

And from what I hear wax that last book is not very promising...

Oh, and you're welcome! :)

Re: Could Free FM go oldies a la "Classic Hits?" Better check out the SF board!

you know, G-dawg, the more it changes, the more it stays the same.......

Re: Could Free FM go oldies a la "Classic Hits?" Better check out the SF board!

Well after all, it was Classic Hits 103-7 before, might as well be again. The same, yet different...
Besides, you know what they say Chris, "in this business, the only thing constant, is change !" ;D

Re: Could Free FM go oldies a la "Classic Hits?" Better check out the SF board!

Anolther one gone, 92.3 KROCK is back on in New York!
How much longer will 103.7 be "Free?"
