Country music heard in the background of WIBQ

While listening to Midwest's WIBQ the last few days, I can faintly hear country music in the background. None of the Midwest stations in our area play country music so I wonder where it could be coming from? stl?

Sounds like their AM 1440 is getting into their FM audio somehow. The AM and FM transmitters are co-located. AM can be difficult to keep out of things...

I worked at a mom and pop where the AM and FM transmitters were next to each other and the tower was just behind the building. You could always hear the AM RF bleed through on the FM.

Then there's that other nuisance where the AM signal appears +/- the FM signal. Example AM 1000 would show up on 92.5 and 94.5 if your FM is on 93.5. That's usually caused by the AM getting into the composite input & modulating the FM transmitter. Double shielded cable at the composite input often helps that one.
