Radio legend, Cousin Brucie, has agreed to lend a hand and host this years event (September 19th at the Manhattan Center). Appearing will be everyone from CHIC, Gloria Gaynor and the Trammps to Montell Williams, Karen Lynn Gorney and Denise Rich. Should be a fun night.

Cousin Brucie hosting dance music hall of fame/ Al Bandeiro has to be heated over that. Cousin Brucie does not make any sense as a choice.

Well, there's the flipside. Al Bandiero could host an oldies event. J/K.

Hey...remember the old saying....

"A gig's a gig"!!!

(Methinks the "Cuz" is being well-paid to perform this service.)

The fact of the matter is that Cousin Bruce Morrow was actually playing the records by Chic and Gloria Gaynor ,introducing them when they were NEW records to his listeners, initially on the Then Top 40 AM powerhouse, 77WABC,and then, when he made his move to AM 66WNBC,so I think he's as qualified as anyone might be for this gig!
