Good article In City Life - (glad they took my advice to cover the local talk radio scene.) It should be good for both Stock and Basham. So they bashed Stock - big deal - they spelled his name correctly - and I'm sure many people say "Oh-City Life doesn't like him, sounds like a guy I'd like to listen to." A nice free ad for knxt.

Guess the BIG LOSER was one (Number "ONE" local talk show host??) of the local hosts that was afraid of the "liberal media." (I expect to see a letter to the editor saying she wasn't contacted?)

PS I never used one of the names someone says I used, I did have to change names as a result of a network change.

So, you saw the other thread talking about this CityLife article. You read it, at least to the point where the guy called you out, and you STILL felt the need to start your own topic?

At least this post was somewhat readable. You're getting better.

I saw Doug Basham/Lydia Cornell in an ad on page 5B of the Las Vegas RJ today (Wednesday).

Author of City Life article says he has phone and email records showing he contacted "top host" who said she wasn't contacted.

Not true. Prior to the article, I'd never even heard of him, and he never personally contacted me. Period. Not via phone, e-mail or anything else. What did he do, call the company receptionist? To my knowledge, he didn't even do that. Didn't he say I "refused" to be interviewed? How can I refuse someone I've never met? Guess he wasn't that determined to speak to me, and that's fine, but why lie about it? Besides, he's looking for an angle and it sounds much more interesting if you try to convince people that the girl who loves to talk suddenly clammed up...

WHAT A SHOCK! CITY LIFE MAKING IT SOUND LIKE DOUG BASHAM HAS LISTENERS :p :D

In the 8 o'clock hour it will be a three way horse race between Heidi, Alan, and Doug Basham .,, kind of like the old days (2003) when Doug took ratings away from Alan and Heidi.

I'd make political office holders pay for air time when they appear on the "top local show host show"...since there aren't any tough questions, like from the listeners (if any) or the host...it might as well be considered an informercial.

P.S. Look out! Brian Greenspun, George Soros, Harry Reid and a City Life newspaper writer are up to something....maybe top investigative multi-media man/reporter George Knapp should investigate the "I was never contacted" situation? Maybe the "heavy hitter" can sue??
