At one point it was mentioned that The Palace would perhaps send an invitation through Biden, who could form a contingent of his choosing to go to London for the funeral - A contingent that may or may not have included DJT. However, in the end, personal invitations were sent directly to Joe and Jill Biden, so no 'contingent'. Also, while even the leader of North Korea was invited, not all countries' leaders were.

At one point, they showed a car driven by William and they said his uncles were passengers in the car. That would be Andrew and Edward. I haven't seen any mention of Princess Anne.

The fact that they issued a statement and reported that the family were traveling to Scotland to be with her at the bedside made it very clear. They are very good at controlling the message, they only say what they want to say, and this time the message they wanted to put out was that the end was nearing and the situation was serious.

Regarding a question I asked in one of my first posts in this thread - who exactly was present with the Queen before/at the time of her passing, the times and details marked on her death certificate now seem to make that clear. Also, it's been revealed that the Queen passed away at 10:10 a.m eastern time in the USA, or about 3 1/2 hours before it was publicly announced...Most likely to allow her immediate family to arrive and pay respects, for The Palace to make certain preparations and get things in order for the excitement and commotion that would surely ensue once the official announcement was made, and to allow the Royals to notify other family members as well as formally notify the Prime Minister and other government officials as a matter of order:

It was revealed yesterday that the queen had died on Sept. 8 at 3:10 p.m. local time, just over three hours before the public announcement of her death at 6:30 p.m., and with only King (then Prince) Charles and Princess Anne at Balmoral; the rest of the royals were en route at the time. The rite really hasn't changed much since medieval times, regardless of the economy. Interesting side note: The last photographs of Queen Elizabeth II were taken September 6 during her meeting with Liz Truss, who was formally appointed Prime Minister by the Queen that day. Given all the turmoil that has hit Truss and her government today (October 14) she might soon be forced to resign. If that happens, those photographs will show the longest reigning British monarch meeting the shortest termed Prime Minister that formed a government.
