Cozi & Antenna TV mop up mess created by Me-TV moving 80 miles away

Cozi and Antenna TV are the winners in the over the air Atlanta retro television battle. At least I'm watching a lot of them. There was a time a few years back when Atlanta was the largest market without Me-TV. Now, we've come full circle once again since Me-TV left WSB in order to get more cable coverage. They could have at least picked a local station!!!!!

Shame on Me-TV for going this route and pulling their signal away from thousands or OTA viewers. Have they no dignity? AND it looks like they have no plans of doing anything about it.

They are now on a low powered station WUEO-LD channel 49 (RF49) but coverage isnt the best

That station is a simulcast of WGTA (32) out of Toccoa.

They are leaning more on the ATL market than when they bought WUGA from University of Georgia. The calls meant Greenville to Atlanta.... this is just a play to get into ATL TV homes and some stick in Toccoa that reached as far south as Athens wasn't going to cut it. So, they had to do something to get in more homes.

Meanwhile 36 still has an empty placeholder where Bounce used to be. 17-2 is still just a SD version of 17-1. ME-TV must have their reasons for not trying to pick up something, anything more local.

I've started leaving my TVs on Buzzr or Get.TV, sometimes 32-6 Comet and 32-7 KBS World which is not Retro TV as many places claim. It's KBS Korean TV. Fine by me.

49.1 the New Me-TV needs a bit more power. I'm 7 air miles from their antenna and 49.1 has issues (sometimes) during the day or when its windy or rainy. Isn't the signal pointed more towards Marietta than Stone Mountain (my location)? I'd like to see their signal map if anyone can find it.

But needless to say I'm glad we have Me-TV back........just wish they had done this when they made the original switch.

They are still having signal issues. I am lucky to get them in a watchable state one night a week. Come on guys, tweak your signal please.
