The Interview of course didn't end well the way it went.

An inter-company, interstate war of words has erupted between a pair of Entercom afternoon sports talk shows. The trigger was an on-air discussion between WFAN New York’s Craig Carton and the WEEI-FM Boston afternoon trio of Glenn Ordway, Lou Merloni and Christian Fauria that delved into Carton’s time in prison.

Carton was asked to call-in to the afternoon show during WEEI-FM’s recent “Giving Tuesday” fundraiser for The Jimmy Fund. During the call, Fauria asked Carton if he was able to have conjugal visits from his wife while in prison.

This is garbage programming any way you cut it. The WEEI hosts got it right but it would be more satisfying if it were the advertisers reacting and not just rival hosts. Too bad radio corporations find it so easy to take the low road to dirty money all the time.

If there was more public outrage, the advertisers would follow. But there isn't.

That's where ad boycotts begin, as we've seen with Limbaugh or O'Reilly. Not here.
