Crain Media to Flip KKSP By The End of Year?

Im hearing KKSP will be flipping after its unsuccessful run as "It just rocks" format fails again on this stick. Remember the Razor???? Word is its going to the News /Talk format that seems to be trendy in the todays industry.

Also in the Crain camp....what are your thoughts on Ugly Ed doing mornings on the weak stick of K-Hits? Must suck to go from a successful stick like KLAL to that thing....
 
in my humble opinion, Ugly Ed is going to get creamed on that weak signal. Although klal went into top 5 with him at the controls, it's hard to get past a terrible signal. i'm sure he's glad to have a job after getting blown out from Alice, but he's got his work cut out for him at kshits. good luck ugly ed, you're going to need it.
 
Stale Talk has a weaker lineup than KDXE's former foray into conservative talk. Outsourcing local news and weather to a TV station may work with a music station but not with a talk station.  Neil Gladner can only carry the station on his back so far, and its OTA coverage is weaker than KARN-FM (for instance, I cannot hear 93.3 in the car in Star City, but can hear 102.9)
