Cumulus Plans to have a "News and Information" Station in Atlanta in May.

Well Cumulus will do a good job in Atlanta. Look at KGO-AM performance in March 2012 they raised their audience share from 2.7-2.9 in the San Francisco Books. And in San Jose books their ratings were left blank for march 2012.

You cant really compare the two. KGO is a very identifiable brand. The new news FM in Atlanta will have no heritage brand. They will be starting from scratch. The good news is that they hired a real pro to run the place. Marshall Adams from WBT and KDKA. Lets just hope they let him do his job.

Well in Able for Cumulus to make their mark on the "News and information" Brand they have to cross promote with a local ABC affiliate or a Disney O&O to get more listeners in or stablilize their ratings.
