national revenue's a problem. National was down nearly 18% in the second quarter, and Lew Dickey expects it to be off about 16% for this quarter. One big reason, major account Home Depot moving towards network.

He is happy about the launch of Houston rocker KIOL and especially the Walton and Johnson morning show. Overall, cumulus reports revenue up 1.3% for the second quarter.

Another downgrade: After downgrading KCYY San Antonio from C to C0 a new allocation was awarded to Meyersville on 100.1A.

KHCB Organization gets new allocation in Fredericksburg on 91.5A.

After the downgrade of KIOC Orange from C to C0, competing proposals for a new allotment on 106.3A is be considered by the FCC for Glenmora, TX and Marksville. LA.

No news yet on the downgrading of KOVE-FM in Galveston to a C0 and the new allotment for Matagorda.

The places should have been Glenmora and Marksville, Louisiana (both south of Alexandria,La)

the Glenmora petition is by Charles Crawford of Texas
the Marksville petition is by a local company there

Thanks for the correction and location. Had heard of Marksville, but not Glenmora and took M Street at their word.

No problem Mike,

Glenmora is a pretty small town about 1-2,000 people about 20 miles SSW of Alexandria (It's basically close to the Alexandria tower farm of Forest Hill) in Rapides Parish. They probably mistook it as Texas when the petitioner was Crawford.
