CXR Trust Given Until February 15, 2022 To Sell WSUN & WPYO

Not sure, because iHeart already has "Mega" on the 97.1 translators. I'd bet on El Zol.
That's right based on that conflict, or either La Z or La Nueva. SBS could always bring another brand to its network for both Orlando and Tampa.

El Zol would make sense based on the "WSUN" callsign translates to Sol in Spanish. No need to file changes there.

I know it's a non-comm (Puerto Rico has a Christian station called Vida and another, unrelated one called Nueva Vida), but Z could cause some confusion with Orlando's super-famous Contemporary Christian station (and it's Spanish spin-off, also called La Z).

Well sounds like El Zol could be the winner here. Let's find out.

Whats on the real 95.3 dial right now? They are relaying the old stream to the Power online channel. Hard to tell whats on there right now.

Why are you people so hung up on call letters? They don't matter. As far as guessing the branding conflicts, go ahead and add 105.9 Sunny-FM to your list.

An update for 97.1 (97X) was listening today and they are running promos stating this frequency will be going down the road and listen to 97.5 and 101.5 HD2 and informed listeners to go to one of their web sites for more info. At least they are warning their fan base before they go away on the 97.1 position on the dial.

The news as of April 27th at Noon the switch will be flipped on 97.1 FM as per the bumper they are playing now.
Not as climatic as we once thought but that is it for this thread.

W248CA will be the new call letters of 97X. WSUN was the old call letters. Neither of those had an “X” in it.

W248CA definitely doesn’t correspond to the branding of 97X

As of now (3pm EST), they are running the "here's where you can find 97X" in a loop. This has been running since noon.
Just checked, I am barely in the Tampa/St Pete Market- 10 miles east, would be in the Orlando DMA); at any rate, the 97.1 signal, which is horrible this far out; is broadcasting the same informational loop, but the two 94.9HD2 and 101.5HD2 are playing regular 97X programming. With HD in the house and in the car, I will be one of the few, that will have better OTA reception, since streaming can be unreliable in the area, I’m in.

Don't forget 97.5 on your home stereo or what have you. Not HD.

In a few cases, call letters do matter.. im the first one to say they dont.. and mostly they dont, but only in a few cases

WTIC, WBZ.

Interestingly, tough all of KSKO's repeaters have their own 4 call letters, it is KSKO to everyone regardless of whats licensed in sleetmute, shageluk, etc
