According to FMQB, the comedian and former CNN personality will now be hosting "The D.L. Hughley Morning Show" on Kiss-FM, starting Monday. The ensemble cast will also include Kiss veteran Bob Slade.
What makes this interesting is that when CNN cancelled his show, "D.L. Hughley Breaks The News," the network cited that Hughley - who did the show from New York - wanted to stay in L.A. and not travel every week to do the show, or something along those lines.
Well, with this new local radio show for New York, he's obviously either going to relocate to the Big Apple, or it's going to be piped-in via ISDN.
I find the timing odd in that it is going to start literally within days of being announced. Usually when you have a new show with a host of such stature, you'd at least give a few weeks advanced notice.
At any rate... here's hoping D.L. Hughley doesn't make Whoopi Goldberg look like Dr. Joy Browne.
