Dale Earnhardt Jr To become a Pundit for NBC Sports

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news...oth-for-nbc-next-year/?utm_term=.8d3a6d6618e0

Apparently Dale Earnhardt Jr could also be included as a Pundit for NFL and Olympic games too. Yes Earnhardt is mentioned to be a Nascar Pundit though.

and they will only use him on NFL only when the Redskins play on Sunday Night Football and Thursday Night Football as the Redskins are his favorite NFL team.

and him being used for Olympics don't make sense at all.

plus this reunites him with his former pit crew chief Steve Letarte at part of the NASCAR on NBC team next year.

Dale Jr. is a decent human being and can be quite interesting to listen to depending upon the subject. Somehow though I doubt he will be as informative as Jeff Gordon has been as a NASCAR commentator. Jeff's forte is his technical knowledge of the cars and their setups along with his garage stories. I don't know, and haven't heard, that Dale Jr. is as entertaining in those respects - although he can be one hell of a storyteller in his own right. Perhaps he can take the late Benny Parsons slot.
