Dallas Cowboys Games May Move Back to WOAI

<a target="_blank" href=http://www.bizjournals.com/sanantonio/stories/2006/03/20/daily24.html?f=et77&hbx=e_du>http://www.bizjournals.com/sanantonio/stories/2006/03/20/daily24.html?f=et77&hbx=e_du</a>

The SA Business Journal is reporting that radio rights for Cowboys games may be about to shift back to WOAI. Clear Channel is said to be eager to have the games back on their air here.

In 2003, the Cowboys games moved from WOAI to CBS-owned KTSA.

Seeing that the cowboys flagship here in dallas have bounced around on CBS O&Os (KRLD,KVIL,KLUV) and now are moving to non-cbs stations (KTCK/KDBN), I see it as a sign Jerry Jones has gotten tired of dealing with the eye when it comes to broadcasting his team. For SA, its a win/win

WOAI-AM programming director Nate Lundy said Friday he should know within a week whether the station has a deal with the Dallas Cowboys for the team’s San Antonio radio broadcasting rights.
