I hung a radio shack 6 element yagi from the ceiling, and Dallas radio was amazing. Those were the classic days of KZEW FM. I could swing it around for Houston and San Antonio, which were almost like locals. KRBE, in particular, was so strong over Austin that I didn't even have fades. Dallas FM in the car was a bit difficult, but worked on occasion.

93.3 is my favorite Austin station and I can still get it a little ways north of Hillsboro until i93 finally takes over.
