Cumulus Media Rock “93X” 93.7 KXXR Minneapolis has announced the addition of Dana Wessel as Executive Producer of their “Half-Assed Morning Show”.

Wessel most recently co-hosted mornings at Alternative “Go 96.3” KQGO Edina/Minneapolis with Ben Holsen until their exit last summer. He has also previously worked at Sports “100.3 K-Fan” KFXN-FM and “ESPN 1500” KSTP as well as served as a Soccer contributor to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

I'm not so sure about 93X. I tried to give them a chance. They seem to play the same 10 rock songs from the same artists who were popular in 2009.

Also today they did a promo today that went something like "We can afford to play 60 minutes commercial free because we outsourced our request line to India" and then proceeded to have a skit where a person was struggling to talk to someone with a language barrier. I think they were trying to be provocative, but it didn't hit well, especially in the current state of affairs. I immediately turned on SiriusXM Octane in my car and was in much better company.
