Dave FM: Michelle Engel out, no sign of Neil Millman

Re: Dave FM: Michelle Engle out, no sign of Neil Millman

See the campaign worked!

There is much rejoicing in the radio community. To those who joined me, I thank you. To those who scoffed, well, don't mess with me, see I am THE playa in Atlanta Radio.

Mike, babe; this is your opportunity to make CBS Radio proud. To do this you must have my input. Look what happened to Michelle and I only started my campaign a few weeks ago. I would be willing to have a sit down with Mike Wheeler at the Corner Bakery to discuss his plans and my involvement in the station.

Good grief.

Don't break you arm patting yourself on the back, Neil. The station's been in the tak for quite some time, and the move was long overdue.

Congrats to Mike who is stand up guy and when working with him in the midwest with CC, I liked him because he was smart and he pushed through the CC bullshit. He was a JACOR guy and didn't like the minimal investment in programming CC makes.

While he's no Neil Millman, Mike Wheeler has a good reputation and should do good things for DAVE FM.

Neil would have had DAVE's numbers higher than Sunny 100 was ever able to achieve. He also would have made DAVE the station voted #1 for the most music when you're out of work. But it's time to put what could have been behind us and move on.

I am glad to help... I would have rather seen them flip.

What does Sunny 100 have to do with Dave FM?? Sunny was a great station that is SORELY missed in Canton! I talk to people everyday that miss their Sunny. And they NEVER had a good signal in Atlanta! So what gives?

Good lord, what does a stupid rumor have to do with programming acumen?

So what impressed them most about Mike Wheeler? The fifry five percent plus drop in ratings at Clear Channel Atlanta? The 12 million loss in revenue? Involvement in the funny business at Viva?

Have you ever seen Neil Millman and Mike Wheeler together? I didn't THINK so.
(Congrats Neil!)

I guess when you work for the people who actually RUN the market (Hogan, et. al.) your hands are tied. And...I don't believe Wheeler had any involvement with the Viva Banditos.

He was Operations Manager and none of it was his fault? Interesting. How about signing his Toledo buddy Denny Schaffer to a no cut sweetheart contract for three times what he worth? Was he "taking orders" on that too?
