Dave Shapiro Music Label Executive and Drummer Daniel Williams found dead in San Diego Plane Crash




Note the Airplane crash is under investigation by the NTSB and FAA. Also when this was reported in San Diego it was Wall to Wall coverage over scares that the Neighborhood is facing a wildfire risk and a neighborhood explosion until it was revealed to be a plane crash that killed a Music Label exec and Drummer.
Sound Talent Group co-founder and agent Dave Shapiro died in a plane crash in San Diego, Calif. on Thursday morning, per the National Independent Talent Organization (NITO).

A founding member of NITO, and a reputable agent in the heavy rock music scene, Shapiro, 42, was in a private jet that crashed into a community of U.S. Navy-owned housing in San Diego on early Thursday morning. According to a recent report from the Associated Press, a total two people were killed, destroying at least one home and numerous parked cars.
 


Here is an obit on Daniel Williams by the band The Devil Wears Prada and it mentions that Dave Shapiro was one of the pilots on the plane that crashed in the San Diego neighborhood.

At least two people are dead and eight others were injured after a small plane crashed in Southern California, striking more than a dozen homes and vehicles in a military housing neighborhood, authorities announced.

The metalcore band paid tribute to Williams and Shapiro in an emotional post shared to its social media pages on May 22. Williams and Shapiro were reportedly 39 and 42, respectively, at the time of their deaths.Williams was a member of The Devil Wears Prada from the band's 2005 inception until 2016. The former rocker shared on his May 21 Instagram stories that he was boarding a flight with Shapiro, although their destination was not stated. Shapiro self-identified as an "airport/helicopter pilot" on his Instagram page.
 


Here is an updated obit of those that were on the plane with Daniel Williams and Dave Shapiro they were staff members of Sound Talent Group and were booking agents for the company.

Having 5700+ hours I can tell you the majority causal factor is human error and when alleged "journalists" focus always on the age of the aircraft, its a dead giveaway they haven't a clue what they are talking/writing about. In this particular case, having heard the recordings between air traffic control and the pilot, neither mentioned or questioned "altimeter setting" which is a priority to getting your altitude reading correct and as such, the preliminary findings show the aircraft did hit power lines on final approach
