This was a horrible shock. I knew Dave a bit; he was a tremendous guy. He's from a couple towns over in the southwest suburbs of Chicago. Just yesterday on Twitter, he thanked a fan in Germany for listening to his broadcast. Died in his sleep. Had a heart condition diagnosed late last season. He would have been 59 next week. So young and so sad.
