Good for David. Toxic work environments are not easy.
I wouldn't say it was a toxic environment. He's produced the show for over 20 years. A lot goes into that when you consider the reach of the show. He felt it was time for him to step away and retire and get some rest. Just because a job was demanding does not mean it is toxic.
