David Weiss on Business Talk This Morning, Today on WLIE

How bizarre was it today to hear David's voice back on 540! I was scanning the dial this morning and caught the end of some pre-recorded story David was telling about a woman who cancelled a wedding due to a cheating fiancee. As the story went, she couldn't cancel the catering hall, so she threw a women-only benefit to raise money for some cause.

It was the surprise of hearing David Weiss on 540 that caused me to stop and listen. In-fact the production quality was so different than the way I'm used to hearing him, that I had to wait to be sure. The speed of his delivery was much quicker than normal as well. At the end, he closed by saying, "I'm David Weiss". There was no other identification.

Can anyone tell me what the segment was (possibly some syndicated service he provides?), and whether or not it is a regular feature? Of course, that question isn't really "RELEVANT", since the format will be changing in the near future.
 
I thought they took off "Business Talk This Morning"?

Actually I wish I could figure out what they're doing with WLIE.

Believe it or not,I was surfing the web and discovered a radio station that I believe is in American Samoa and David Weiss is working there.!!!

I vote for pete11780 for best use of an existing thread, since this one started in Sept '06. :)

That was 93 KHJ American Samoa. They feature David's "News that Matters".
