Dawn Hayes stars in new Toyota commercials

Guess who is back on TV here in the Boston area. Dawn Hayes! For those of you who don't know who she is, she was THE host of the Massachusetts Lottery TV drawings for many many years from 1989 until 2004. The commercial is basically about Toyotas "Lucky numbers" and there's a lottery machine just like the real ones they still use, and she even had the handheld mic that she always had in the old days. I was really impressed because it means that people remember her. I really hope she can become the host of the online drawings sometime. She actually DID come back for a special 40th anniversary drawing last year.
 
Ummm...didn't I read about this already when it was FIRST posted (mistakenly....whooopsie!) on the Boston radio board? :D

And if people remembered her, she might not have to begin the commercial with "I'm Dawn Hayes."

As I recall that's how she started the lottery drawings. And it's unlikely she or anyone else will return to doing live MA lottery drawings because the big ones are now multi-state and drawn elsewhere.
