Dawson McAllister could begin a big expansion over the next couple of months

The past couple of weeks, Dawson McAllister Live gained several new CHR affiliates on Sunday nights in places like Wichita, Louisville, Lexington and Portland, OR. I subscribe to Dawson's prayer E-mail. The slogan is "Taking God's love to top 40 radio". Dawson says in the email that as many as 40 to 50 different stations could be adding his show over the next couple of months. I wonder if a majority of those stations will be Clear Channel stations as the show is syndicated by Premiere Radio? Could he be getting on in big markets like Z 100 New York? So far, Philadelphia is his largest market I believe. I just hope that there will be non-Clear Channel stations among the 40 to 50 adding the show.
 
It's a great show and really unique, especially for CHR radio. I wish him all the best in his expansion. I just hope that the kids who truly are reaching out for help don't become under-served by the added volume of callers that they'll take on. Best of luck to the show.
 
Then again, some of the affiliates being added could be simply already existing DM Live affiliates adding the weeknight best of show during the overnight hours.
 
We've got it on the station I'm APD at - it sells, and it's excellent content and really gets people listening at an otherwise dull radio time (Sunday nights).... it's a win-win.
 
Dawson brought back a 50 share at my last station. You can use it for your community file for the FCC, it's a barter show, and it really does help people. My current station has Open House Party followed by an alternative rock show (that's been on for 16 years) on Sunday nights.
 
Speaking of Z100 New York, how does the Sunday night period from 9 P.M. to Midnight fare on the station compared to other days and time periods? I wonder if DM Live would work on Z100 or not?
 
Got another prayer memo from Dawson. It looks like a lot of the stations added will be Clear Channel stations. He said cities possibly adding his show include Chicago, St. Louis, Pittsburgh and Columbus.
 
According to the latest prayer memo that I got from Dawson, Z100 New York will be adding his show starting June 28th.
 
The prayer memo is in e-mail form.

My guess is that Z100 will air it from 10PM eastern till midnight eastern. Hopefully they won't put it on at 1AM to 3AM like they did the final years of American Top 40 with Casey Kasem.

I do not. Dawson did say in the prayer memo that other cities adding the show includes Boston, Providence and San Antonio.
