Daytime AM and FM Reception Report : Morrisville, NC near RDU Airport

Sorry for the lack of detail with the daytime AM band scan. I was using a Panasonic AM/FM/CD "Walkman" and had the volume at top level. Even with that I had to angle it to wipe out a stronger local AM. Some of these stations were barely audible, even with the volume up so high. The FM band scan was on the second floor of the Holiday Inn Express off of I-40 and close to RDU (Raleigh/Durham International Airport).

Reception of those Tidewater-area Virginia stations is not normal... in fact there is a 92.1 between you and that one that you received. Must have been some sort of atmospheric oddity going on that day.
