Congrats to life after radio!

iHeartMedia Dayton announces the retirement of veteran air personality Kim Faris. After 43 years broadcasting in the Dayton market, her last day on-air will be Friday, July 16. During her time on-air, Faris has graced the airwaves on stations such as WING, WJAI, WGTZ (Z93), WLQT, WYDB and most recently on WMMX-FM (Mix 107.7). She's been the midday host there for the last five years from 10am-3pm.

A member of the Ohio Radio Hall of Fame and the Dayton Area Broadcasters Hall of Fame, Faris has also played a key role hosting the Miami Valley View show every weekend on all of Dayton's iHeartRadio stations for the last decade. In addition, she has volunteered and advocated for a variety of amazing organizations across the Dayton area and Tri-State Region, including the American Heart Association, Walk for Women's Wellness, Noble Circle Project, Pink Ribbon Girls and many more
