DCRTV.com: Fox & Friends co-anchor to co-anchor WUSA newscasts, host talk show

According to DC/Baltimore Media news website DCRTV.com, current Fox and Friends co-anchor Steve Doocy has been hired to co-anchor Washington DC-area CBS Affilliate WUSA's 5 PM and 11 P.M. Newscasts with current anchor Tracy Neale. This is because, a WUSA source told DCRTV, "We needed to jolt the station's ratings, and this hi-def, alone, just wasn't working." He also will apparently do a nationally-syndicated DC-based talk show for WUSA parent company Gannett. He returns to the DC area where he was once the Entertainment/Features reporter for DC-area NBC affilliate WRC-TV (NBC4) before joining the New York-based Fox and Friends national morning show for Fox News Channel.

A glass raised to Mr. Doocy and best wishes to him at his new job at WUSA/Gannett.

It is too bad that Mr. Doocy is leaving Fox and Friends, but this is a great opportunity for me and WUSA-TV. Is WUSA in late place in the news ratings in Washington D.C.? This could really help their station.

I wish Mr. Doocy and his family well!

I believe you 2`ve become victim to DCRTV`s annual April Fools Day stunt (fake news headline). ;D
