"Deal or No Deal" and "Trivial Pursuit": Where will they be playing in...

Re: "Deal or No Deal" and "Trivial Pursuit": Where will they be playing in...

If you go www.dealornodealtv.com there is an station finder feature on there. Not sure about trival pursuit though. I would be interested to see where that show lands for Rochester and Syracuse NY.

Re: "Deal or No Deal" and "Trivial Pursuit": Where will they be playing in...

In Charlotte, "Deal or No Deal" will air at 6:30 on WMYT, channel 55, while "Trivial Pursuit" will air at 6 and 6:30 on WAXN, channel 64.

Re: "Deal or No Deal" and "Trivial Pursuit": Where will they be playing in...

Seattle:

DOND (breaking Monday): KSTW/11 (CW) at 7 pm, doubleheader vs. WOF & J! on KOMO - replaces That '70s Show
TPAP (breaking Sept. 22): KIRO/7 (CBS) at "9 AM Precisely" (ah, "Webster time!"), leading into Feud and Price - replaces the now concluded Montel.

Re: "Deal or No Deal" and "Trivial Pursuit": Where will they be playing in...

Atlanta:

"Deal Or No Deal": WXIA at 4:30 PM
(paired with "Millionaire" at 4, both
face Oprah on WSB)
"Trivial Pursuit" WPCH 1-2 PM

Greensboro:

"Deal Or No Deal" WXLV 7 PM (faces
"Wheel" on WFMY)
"Trivial Pursuit" WXLV 9 AM (replaces

The Triad will have two stations with back-to-

on WFMY; "Deal Or No Deal" and "Millionaire" on WXLV.

What about here in Philly?

Re: "Deal or No Deal" and "Trivial Pursuit": Where will they be playing in...

If you'd looked it up Julius, you'd see the Trivial Pursuit list shows they'll be on Fox 29 at 4 am, leading into Family Feud at 4:30 a.m. (Come on now, double runs of those hideous court shows and TMZ, and the best they can do is a 4-5 am block? Ick.)

Deal airs on NBC10 at noon (likely to be slaughtered by Action News).

Re: "Deal or No Deal" and "Trivial Pursuit": Where will they be playing in...

Orlando:

DOND - WKCF (CW) - 6 and 6:30 PM (replaces Friends and That 70's Show) - Friends moves down to 5 and 5:30 PM on WKCF and That 70's Show moves to WRDQ

TP - WRDQ (IND) - 1 PM

Re: "Deal or No Deal" and "Trivial Pursuit": Where will they be playing in...

Looking at the "Trivial Pusuit" website, it appears as though the TBA's appear mostly in smaller markets. Does this mean it's on in the CW+ stations? Can anyone confirm?

Re: "Deal or No Deal" and "Trivial Pursuit": Where will they be playing in...

San Francisco/Bay Area:
KNTV NBC 11 (NBC Bay Area) Daily at NOON.

Re: "Deal or No Deal" and "Trivial Pursuit": Where will they be playing in...

Here in Fairbanks...no Trivial Pursuit, but "Deal or No Deal" is on KTVF at 7:00 PM opposite "Entertainment Tonight" on KXD.

Meanwhile, they dropped the poorly performed Merv Griffin's Crosswords/Frasier at 2:00 in favor of "The Bonnie Hunt Show" (which I sampled while in I was Virginia last week).

The Bonnie Hunt Show also is buried on in the wee hours on CW 57. Seriously, I remember she had a TGIF show on ABC, Life with Bonnie, and I didn't realize she had a syndicated talk show now until I saw some listings when I was looking at New York and CT timings. Apparently Bonnie Hunt distributed by Warner Bros. that also distributes Ellen, and once distributed Rosie O'Donnell then briefly Caroline Rhea. I'm not sure of the format, but if its just general variety, why is Warner Bros. diluting the Ellen show with a Bonnie Hunt show? I've never know it when WB had 2 of the same on that the same time. Anyways, I'm sure Ellen gets better guests, but perhaps its a transition for when Ellen leaves. It seems most NBC O&Os and a lot of other stations are carrying it, before Ellen.

Anyways, I've noticed this pattern. It seems like the content distributors need to get New York and LA clearances. The station owners are hesistant, esp. if its not from a sister company, and they are not like "sure, we'll give you clearances across the board". Instead, they are of the approach, "let's see how ratings are in these cities, and earn it, then we'll make room for it in the these cities" Somehow Philly also gets certain shows late, or not at all (often gets cancelled before ever getting a daytime slot). In Chicago and LA, there are more stations however KCBS has KCAL, etc. so more time slots for these shows.

And while 17, 29 and 57 have ample of time slots, they seem to follow a format. Right now its very heavily court-room TV shows. At one time, it was all talk shows. And in the late 90's, they preferred airing sitcoms (even while the New York TV stations had moved on to the trashy talk shows - WWOR and WPIX with Ricki Lake, Richard Bey, Jenny Jones etc.)

Is Trivial Pursuit being aired in Philly, if so, what channel?

I asked this because I don't see it on the TV listings here in Philly.

Re: "Deal or No Deal" and "Trivial Pursuit": Where will they be playing in...

I took a look at "Trival Pursuit" this week, and I must say it's not a bad show. However, among the new "high-profile" syndicated series launched so far this season, it has the worst ratings of them all (yes, even below the umpteenth court show with a gimmick and poor clearances, "Family Court with Judge Penny").

Again, Julius, read the first page of this thread and the question is already answered. Or you can go to TVGuide.com and review the local listings, which also will give you your answer.
