From Radio-Info's news team for Friday April 25, 2008:
Police in the Denver area are investigating at least 29 complaints regarding Castle Pines Auto Sports, a car dealership where angry customers want to know where their money and cars have gone. The dealership is accused of defrauding customers, selling non-existent warranties and cars they didn't have the titles to, leaving customers out thousands of dollars. While the owner is nowhere to be found, the manager of the business is. That's Denver's KRFX-FM (103.5) morning host Michael Floorwax, who went on the air yesterday to tell his side of the story. According to KUSA-TV, Floorwax told listeners he "wouldn't steal from anybody," and he's "going to do his very level best to somehow fix this." His lawyer claims Floorwax was not involved in day-to-day activities. Felony charges are possible for those responsible.
