DePetro: The Bill Clinton Of Talk Radio ?

C

Having read John DePetro's explanation of his use of the word in question "f*g" it read like something out the Bill Clinton playbook on what the meaning of "is...is."

DePetro tried to excuse his choice of words by saying it depends upon what your defintion of "gaf... ;)" is. Pretty weak defense but it falls into the same weak defense Dennis and Callahan used in the "monkey/METCo" insult.

Still DePetro and Dennis and Callahan are just giving Entercom what they want. It is as much of a fraud for Entercom, in the suit of Jason Wolfe, to now come forth and say that he is "shocked...shocked I tell you that there is gambling going on in Rick's Place." "Oh, Inspector here are your winnings." - Casablanca for those uniformed.

Entercom and its executives are just a bunch of corporate hypocrites. If they did not really want shock talk on their stations it would stop.
They just act shocked when one of their hirlings is caught and they are handed a check for their rating winnings.

Odd that Depitro would use that work as a slur, I had always assumed that was the team he played for. ???

LucyLu - as Dr. Melfi on the Sopranos will tell you - when people use terms like that they covet the lifestyle.
There are so many men feigning to be heterosexual who have to "prove" their masculinity by gay bashing.
They are the ones at the rest stops giving the rest of the community a bad name. Wasn't there a Governor of New Jersey who was married and lived a double life?

Maybe John DePetro has a crush on Matt Amorello? Looks like they were separated at birth, doesn't it???

How dare you insult Bill Clinton LOL :)

(insert the piece of footage of Bill Clinton at Ron Brown's funeral laughing at a joke someone told him,
then suddenly turning somber when he noticed he was being filmed...)

>> Clinton was walking back to the limo with Tony Campolo, and the two were heartily laughing about something Tony had said, unaware that they were being filmed. Suddenly Clinton spotted the video cameras. He immediately transformed his laughing face into a face of grief, and put his hand over his face as if he were crying. It was surreal, yet utterly true to character of the man... a case study in Clinton hypocrisy.

Now, now, let's be fair!!!!

It's the very first rule in the American National Political Handbook:

"It's all about sincerity".

"Once you can fake THAT you got it made!.

:)

by the way, Howie Carr was crowing (along with Max "Absolutely, Howie" Robins) the other day about the fact that he's linked to the Drudge Report again. The fact that the Herald now makes access to columnists free
probably explains it. Well, today (subject to change), another 'RKO talk host (or "DJ", as the papers would
say--hey, it's DJ Howie C playin' the platters that matter, cats!) has made the Drudge Report...under
headlines...but not necessarily in a positive way...

"WRKO talkradio suspends show host after homosexual slur..."

btw wonder if the "unnh UNNH!" sound effect won't be heard on Howie's show for awhile. Memo from
Programming...?
