Oof RIP hope the right person takes her spot as Senator from California.
Probably for the best, given her health challenges in the last year or so. Sen. Feinstein hadn't given a speech from the well of the Senate in nearly a year, and had missed about half of all floor votes this year.
The earmarks Adam Schiff delivered for donors
The Democratic congressman for years secured earmarks for defense companies while taking campaign donations from top corporate brass and Washington lobbyists.

Here is one of the candidates on who gets the US Senate formerly held by Dianne Feinstein seat representing California. Adam Schiff who is known for his role in investigating Trump's ties to Russia and January 6th attacks in the US House. This will come into play when he is considered to move to the Senate.
^^^ Respectfully, this belongs in the politics forum, rather than in an "in memoriam" thread about Senator Feinstein, her life, career and recent passing. Frank certainly would've enforced this as he had strong feelings regarding the in memoriam forum.
