I'm just curious if anyone who grew up listening to WRKO with a music format (1967 'til ??) remembers specific DJs that impressed them by their style, delivery, etc., so that they stood out from the seemingly endless stream of those who went in and out of the "Big 68"?
I know that many would give Dale Dorman as a response, but that is too obvious. Others (J.J. Wright and Mike Addams) remained around these parts and have worked at other stations.
Does anybody even remember some of the names? Do the names Joel Cash, Tony Mann, Eric Chase, Dave Michaels, Gary Martin, Chuck Knapp, John Rode, Kris Phillips, Jon Powers, Melody McShane, Tim Kelly, Gary Matthews, Al Gates, J. J. Jordan, J. J. Jeffrey, Bobby Mitchell, Tom Kennedy, Chip Hobart, etc (the list is endless!) mean anything? Will anybody ever know that any of these people worked in Boston at one time?
