Did anyone out there hear Bob of an hour with Bob call into Yorke

Could it be Bob wants to give talk radio a shot. Its not such crazy idea for WHJJ. I know we have beat this one to death. Since the early 80s starting with Sherm, Kass and White which was the greatest lineup in talk radio history, then to great run by JD they have since shrunk to the worst talk radio station in Rhode Island history.

Just think in just one year Dan Yorke has become the Dean of local talk radio.
 
Yeah I heard the call. He called into Carolyn Fox once when she worked at WPRO. She said "I HATE THAT GUY!" lol. Apparently she had her reasons. I'm sure it wasn't personal. His cable access show probably just annoyed her. Afterall... you can't like EVERYBODY!

Anyway... When Bob called into Dan Yorke it seemed that Bob definitely had a differing opinion than Dan. I forget exactly who Dan was bashing.... but it was someone who Dan felt was being grossly overpaid. However Bob clearly countered Dan's bashing and said that the particular person in question was an exceptionally hard worker and deserved a high salary because he would do twice the amount of work that he was being paid for.

I think Dan felt that Bob would agreee with him... but it was fun to hear that Bob felt the exact opposite. I don't have anything against BOB. He may be a little quirky.... but his talk show is the best thing on Rhode Island cable access. It's hard to fault a guy who works for free.

He doesn't get 'paid' for doing the show itself. But, I am sure he has figured out a way to 'work a few deals' on the side.
